Archer's Poudre River Resort cabin # 2

   Cabin 2 is a 2 bedroom log cabin, sleeps up to 6 and was built in the early 1950’s. It is situated a little farther from the river but still only a short walk away. The front yard is an open grassy gathering area complete with picnic table and fire pit. Majestic mountains soar to awesome heights directly across from you to the north. Watch for the herd of deer that call the mountain side home when they are not grazing in your front yard. Big horn sheep sightings are common on the mountain side as well and they do come down to take advantage of the winter grazing around the cabins. Your back yard to the south gives way to tall pines and aspen groves, then the river and more mountains. We have installed a gas fireplace in the great room. A new glass sided corner walk-in shower stall has been added and new tile flooring. The full kitchen has a gas range, double door refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Even wine glasses are provided to complete your mountain get-a-way retreat. The double futon in the great room accommodates the additional guests. Bathroom and bedroom linens are provided. Satellite TV/ VCR is in the great room with hundreds of movie titles available for rent at Our Country Store. Both bedrooms have double lodge pole beds. The interior is done in warm knotty pine. . The front door has been fitted with a “Security” Screen door and lock to let you leave your door open at night with maximum evening air flow. You will have easy parking in front of the cabin and no steps to navigate.
