Cabin 12, Lea’s Chalet, was my cozy get-a-way mountain home. Now it is available full time for YOUR enjoyment. It is a
1 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6. This newer cabin features cedar log siding on the exterior with cedar paneling on the interior.
The oak hardwood floors give the cabin a soft warm glow. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and bedroom give an open and spacious feel. Celestial windows in the front look to the mountains in the west and the 3 dormer windows look to the north, giving the loft plenty of air flow and awesome mountain views.

We have added an electric fireplace with light oak surround and mantel. The logs can be turned on for the look of a real fire without the heat or when the temperatures start to dip in the fall, just adjust to the heat mode and enjoy the flickering fire and radiated warmth. The full kitchen has an electric range and double door refrigerator. The breakfast bar adds extra counter tops and seating at meal time. Of course, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils are all provided as well as bathroom and bedroom linens. The hallway linen closet stores the extra blankets and pillows needed for a group. The full bath has a bathtub and shower. The bedroom has a queen size bed, clothes closet and 2 windows. There is a door leading from the bedroom directly to the 30 X 12 foot redwood deck. The living/great room has a double futon for those additional guests. Relax and watch a late night movie on your Satellite TV/VCR. Again, we have hundreds of movie titles to choose from and all for rent at Our Country Store. The loft is open to the great room. It has 2 twin beds and seating to enjoy the mountain views. There are sliding glass patio doors from the great room onto the deck. A 12’ retractable awning lets you enjoy the outdoor living even in the heat of the day or a sudden rain shower. The deck overlooks your private grassy courtyard where you can catch a glimpse of the river from time to time. There are lots of pines and aspens as well as an awesome view of the mountains. The recessed fire pit is close by as well as the oversized community fire pit located in our central courtyard and hot tub area. Easy parking is provided at the west end of the cabin with steps to navigate up to the raised deck entrance
