Pictures Keep The Memories Alive
No matter what time of the year, when you travel up the Poudre Canyon, you are going to find photo opportunities at every turn. The wildlife is abundant. Flora! Fauna! Still shots or action packed. Relax while casting for fish in the Poudre River or take the short jaunt to the many, many lakes that you will find up the Poudre Canyon. The bears have been seen from early spring to late fall but more sightings are reported in the fall when they are storing up for their winter nap. Remember to keep all food and drink locked up or you will be sure to have an uninvited guest for dinner. The deer, elk and antelope are easily spotted and make for some great photos. The Moose take a little more patience and you have to travel up the canyon into higher country to get some good pictures.
